Do I legally need a sprinkler system in my property?
In Wales, automatic fire suppression systems are required in new and converted domestic and residential properties under current regulations. We can advise exactly what applies to your project.
Do fire sprinkler systems activate accidentally?
Accidental activation is extremely rare. Only the sprinkler heads exposed to high heat will activate, not the entire system. Modern systems are designed and installed to strict standards to prevent accidental discharge.
What is the difference between sprinkler systems and water mist systems?
Sprinkler systems discharge water through individual heads when heat from a fire is detected. Mist systems use very fine water droplets. Both can be compliant; we’ll recommend what’s best for your building.
Can you design and install systems for existing buildings?
Yes. We design and install systems for both new-build and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with current legislation, British Standards, Building Regulations, and insurer requirements.
