Fire Sprinkler System Design
Every domestic or residential fire sprinkler system we design is tailored to the layout, construction and usage of the property. Our goal is to provide effective protection while keeping the system as discreet as possible.
From initial survey through to CAD drawings and final specification, we design systems in line with current British Standards and building control expectations.
Designed for your property
Each sprinkler system is designed specifically for the building it protects. Sprinkler heads are positioned so that rooms are properly covered while remaining sympathetic to the interior design.
Pipework routes are planned to be as efficient and unobtrusive as possible, using correctly sized pipework to deliver the required performance.
Standards & compliance
Our design work follows the relevant British Standards for domestic and residential sprinkler systems, including BS 9251. We also take into account building control requirements and the expectations of local fire authorities.
As part of the design we will:
- Assess the property layout and construction methods
- Select suitable sprinkler heads, pipework and control equipment
- Specify appropriate water supplies and pump arrangements
Our design process
After an initial discussion and site assessment, our design consultants produce a full sprinkler design using CAD. This includes detailed drawings, head layouts and equipment schedules.
We will then provide a comprehensive quotation and talk you through the proposed system so that you understand how it works and how it will protect the property.
Once you are happy with the design, we move on to the installation phase.
